Xenophon is a perfect example of the
Warlander. Exquisite movement,
impulsion, and exceptional extension. He
is the best of two great breeds, both
regal and willing. He just oozes
presence even when standing still, and
when he moves you cannot take your eyes
from him. He has the sensibility of the
Friesian and fire of the Andalusian. We
lost Xen's mom when he was only four
weeks old, and raised Xen on 'Mares
Match'*
from a bucket. We would walk out the
door with his bucket and he would fly
across the field to meet us at the gate.
He is very, very special to us. He is
full of personality. He is sensible,
smart, and a gentleman.... He's my boy!!
Xenophon has sired many superb
foals, individuals that are performing
in western, dressage, and trail. Every
Xen foal had acquired his light
movement, trainability, and willingness
to please.
Xenophon is offered to a limited number
of outside mares.
Breeding Fee:
$800.00 USD Andalusian, Friesian, or
Warlander $700.00 other approved
breeds
Live cover or shipped cooled semen

Oberon GVHS reg#

Foaled
September 1st 2004
sire: George H's red horse (UK)
dam: Blue Mountain Holley
In
2003 we were invited to tour
some farms on the Olympic
peninsula. On a beautiful spring
day we spent the day visiting
Friesians Halflingers and Gypsy
Vanners at various farms around
Squim on the Washington coast.
It was the first time we had met
Gypsy Vanners ‘in person’ and I
have to say..If you ever get the
chance to visit these amazing
horses…do it. Vanners are sweet,
friendly, considerate,
calm….just..Wonderful. Going
home that day we decided that
someday we would add Gypsy
horses to our farm and family.
That someday came much sooner
than we expected when Charlene
Clark ; one of the breeders we
had visited, called us. A mare
she had imported had given birth
to a colt and she had decided to
sell him.
WELL..We talked.. It was sooner
than we had planned, we really
should wait..This really was not
the time.. ..Then she sent
pictures…….SOLD…Oberon came home
to us. He is all a Gypsy should
be fabulous conformation..Tons
of hair…and he is everything
that I said previously..And
cuddly
too.
He
passes all of these wonderful
traits to his offspring, if you
are looking for a family horse
gentle enough for the kids and
strong enough for dad…Gypsys and
the cross from them
fit
the bill
